Checking in with Spring

. . . to a new season!
I'm still here, schooling and conditioning my pony, teaching and trail-riding with my student (and her mom), prepping and primping for our upcoming demo ride (this Friday!), and coping with challenging life circumstances better thanks to the mental and physical self-discipline of dressage.

Sometimes, we even have witnesses!

I'm just now catching up here and see (further down) that you were at the NW Horse Expo. Too bad I didn't do some reading sooner - a good friend had his mustang entered into the adult Adopted Mustang Challenge: Scott and his Rocky the Wonder Horse took 2nd place. He bought Rocky, a Kieger mustang just 100 days ago fresh from being rounded-up. I'd been followed Scott's schooling of Rocky since he brought him back to the ranch about 5 miles up the road from here.

I hope you had a grand time there! Praying for drier weather, so you can get in more riding time. It's been a long winter
