Going, going . . . .

An offer has been made and accepted on Larry. Rick will be doing the pre-purchase exam – probably tomorrow as I have jury duty selection on Tuesday and don't know what my schedule will be after that. With Larry's departure looking imminent, I am reminding myself of all that I have to be thankful for – the pleasant privilege of working with this horse for awhile, the chance to earn some money to help cover unexpected expenses, the good home it appears Larry will have.

Once Larry leaves, I am thinking of hanging out my shingle, so to speak, letting it be known that I am willing to take in a horse for board and training. Since my commission on Larry is needed elsewhere, I still have no money to buy a horse, so I might as well see if I can earn some more by doing what I love!

You'll miss working with him but now with this success story under your belt there are bound to be others looking for a trainer to bring their horse into showing condition. All the best in this working out great for you. (At least until you can afford your own keeper!)
