Waiting out the weather
That hoof print might as well be cast in concrete. NW Oregon has become a deep freeze, and it's going to get colder – and snowy! – before it gets warmer again. I'm glad I got rides in the first three days of this week….
It's been really cold. Yesterday's high was 13. This morning, it was 21 when I got up, with a new snow fall of 2". I'm glad it's getting warmer - I have to fill Tang's tank, and hauling hoses when it's so far below freezing just doesn't work - they freeze too quickly to drain them when I'm done! I'm hoping I can get them done tomorrow, when it's supposed to be near freezing (that works ok).
